Staying at the Alta " Resort "Garden !

"As we left , a new Manager was starting .August 2007.

Resort ? Alta has it's own definition of Resort ...make sure if you book there you check the location, taxi services and the way you will pay your bill. Print and keep all email communications ...Very important.

Don't expect a beach near it.

Quotes are in U.S. Dollars ; bill has to be settled in Pesos at a rate the Hotel will decide them selves. Check service charges too....

Food was uneatable in July, August 2007 ; lucky to find items available on menu....Same jam, choice of 1 same juice for breakfast for a month! Lucky when we did have power coffee for breakfast! Cheaper to get a taxi and go to Lapu Lapu.

Taxi's? ...I could fill a page on that issue. Ready to pay extra 50 Php on top of fares because of Alta location?

Gym...We asked ...waited 4 weeks... still unusable...Anthony tried hard. He was very good!

Internet; don't rely on their system if you run a business or need the internet.

Phone in room ...Never worked.

Staff very nice and helpful in a very difficult environment.

The owner and his wife need to find a manager they pay, trust and can work with!

Alta has a Huge potential !!!!
